After check-in, take a walk near the hotel and tonight, join fellow travelers for the Welcome Dinner. (Dinner) | | Day 3 | London | On the sightseeing tour, see all the popular landmarks of London. This afternoon, shoppers will delight in Harrods and the shops in Knightsbridge. For more cultural endeavors, head to the National Gallery. An optional excursion will be offered to the Tower of London. London offers numerous options for dining, or, join the London Dinner optional excursion. (Breakfast) | | Day 4 | Coventry | First stop is Oxford where Henry II established the university. Continue into the Cotswolds for independent lunch in Stow-on-the-Wold. You will enjoy the truly English setting of Stratford-Upon-Avon. Tour the town, including a picture stop at Anne Hathaway's cottage and visit to William Shakespeare's birthplace. During free time, you may opt for the excursion to Warwick Castle. Your hotel is in nearby Coventry. (Breakfast, Dinner) | | Day 5 | York | After a picturesque drive, arrive in York in time for independent lunch. Then, explore York's sights - from the Castle Museum to the Jorvik Viking Center. Be sure to visit York Minster Cathedral. Tonight's hotel is a short drive away. (Breakfast, Dinner) | | Day 6 | Edinburgh | Stop at Hadrian's Wall, a fascinating Roman monument. At lunchtime, savor an English tea. Cross into Scotland and continue to Jedburgh. Some may wish to spend their time shopping at the Woollen Mill, while others visit the Mary, Queen of Scots, House. Arrive late afternoon at your hotel outside Edinburgh. (Breakfast, English Tea, Dinner) | | Day 7 | Edinburgh | Start the day with a guided tour of Edinburgh. After, you might visit the Palace of Holyroodhouse, Writer's Museum, Gladstone's Land, Museum of Childhood, Brass Rubbing Centre, or the high-tech "Our Dynamic Earth" Museum. Continue through the pine forest surrounding Betws-y-Coed and enter the Snowdonia National Park. At Caernarfon, see one of the castles built by Prince Edward I. Have independent dinner while you ferry to Ireland. Spend the next two nights in Dublin. (Breakfast) | | Day 10 | Dublin | A local guide points out St. Patrick's Cathedral, Dublin Castle and the Guinness Brewery among other sights in Dublin and will give you ideas for your free afternoon. The tour ends with a visit inside Trinity College and Library. For evening entertainment, join the optional Irish Cabaret Dinner. (Breakfast) | | Day 11 | Killarney | Tour the Kildare National Stud Farm and visit the Japanese Gardens of Tully House. Look for the 15th-century fortress as you near Bunratty Folk Park. Entrance is included to stroll the park, visit the castle, and explore the 19th-century Irish village. Then it is on to Killarney. (Breakfast, Dinner) | | Day 12 | Killarney | The sights of Killarney are best seen on foot, and for the adventurous, there are tours by horseback and boat through Killarney National Park. An optional excursion to the Ring of Kerry is another possibility. This evening, join an optional Pub Crawl with Dinner. (Breakfast) | | Day 13 | Waterford | At Blarney Castle, see the 17th-century fortification, to walk the grounds, and to stretch upside-down to kiss the Blarney Stone. Upon arrival in Waterford, tour the Crystal Factory. Of course, you will have the opportunity to shop. After free time in Waterford, it is a short drive to your hotel. (Breakfast, Dinner) | | Day 14 | Wales | Depart early for the ferry in Rosslare. Disembark at Fishguard, Wales, and continue by coach along the coast between Pembrokeshire National Park and the Wye Valley. In Wales, visit Cardiff Castle in the bayside capitla, built on the site of a Roman fort. During free time, walk across the moat bridge for a view from the roof garden. Or, visit Cardiff's National Museum of Wales. Overnight is just north of Cardiff. (Breakfast, Dinner) | | Day 15 | London | Return to England to tour Bath, the elegant spa town where the Romans harnessed the natural hot springs. Then, it is on to mysterious Stonehenge.
